Just come back from a tight schedule of weekend. I knew I won’t be able to do my job, let alone to finish it. I packed my laptop along in my bag, but never opened it. It stayed as same as I packed it on Friday afternoon. I am so excited of going home but anxious the very same. My dad accidentally cracked his heel which made me and my other siblings worried sick, given that most of us are not living nearby nowadays, only my youngest is at home, but he is still cannot be count on much. Face the fact, he is 14 and the youngest, still cried on my shoulders, what do you expect? (sigh) ehem.. He only got the gut to cry in front of me, never do that to his other elders huhu (whisper : I don’t deny that I am everyone’s favourite eheheh)
My journey home was ridiculously exhausting. I got lost about an hour ‘pusing-pusing’ KL before finally find the rite route to Puduraya (mental note : next time took LRT like you used to do ok? Only took you 20 minutes!). When I arrived at the terminal, I hurriedly did my jamak taqdim and rushing to Mydin, hoping to buy Najwa toothpaste that my mom asked beforehand. However I was so disappointed finding the store was already closed, which confused me a bit because it just 9 pm that time. Geez, how much bad luck I haf to stand now? Then, I haf to wait about an hour wif a very heavy bag as my supposed to be 9.30 pm bus only arrived at 10.30 pm! I was on a very bad mood, and my weekend shud better be good. Thank goodness I still can smile to people sitting beside me. God Knows how very glad I am when I sat inside Transnasional bus (MaraLiner oredi sold out), heading to my hometown (at last!).
Arrived at Kangar Express Terminal at 6 am and it was my mom who drove my dad’s car, accompanied by my middle brother who got weekend off from his college. I was so relieved knowing he was also around becoz my younger sister wasn’t home as she had her ‘anak angkat’ thing again, and the other brother had seminar at Putrajaya. These two always busy with extra thing like that, while me and my middle never bother those extra except for anything sounds robotics. Pity to mom, as my dad will never able to drive for the whole month onwards, so she has to take over all those ‘family chores’ things. She even had to delay her new offer for work becoz no one is present to look after my dad. How I wish I am so working nearby
I only had couple hours sleeping before being awaken by my brother. We accompanied mom to go to market to stock the fridge wif fresh things. I really can’t go and buy those greeny things becoz I’ll go ‘rambang mata’ and took almost every single veggie my hands could reach. Still I consult wif mom which veggie she and dad is prohibited. Like, my dad isn’t allowed to red sprout while cabbage is not good for mum, such thing like that. But I had a really good time all the same.
Then, my mom asked me to go to my Pak Su house to collect langsat, rambutan and durian. Thinking that it wud took hours at his house (we wont be able to go home unless if we stay for lunch, well, my uncles and aunts owez like that), so we (me n my middle brother) went to my tailor first as I oredi planned to go to her for ages. Only after I done wif my tailor, we went to our Pak Su’s house. Had a very delightful lunch, although it was raining like hell outside. My Mak Su insisted us to take away everything as long as the car cud carry. A ‘karung besar’ of rambutan, langsat, a basin of ‘durian kampung’ and not to forget couple of cempedak. I dunt mind taking home those fruits as long as I didn’t haf to bring them back to KL. It will be troublesome.

I was constantly looking at my watch as I promised those G Squares to spend some time wif them. After creating such a reasonable excuse, I was able to squeeze myself just in time. Dashed to Iqra Store to buy my fave tshirt. After I changed, Safiyyah arrived at my house, followed by Shema and Syahdayanti. We went to Kuala Perlis, lepak and chatted near the sea. Although I complained wif the unreasonable price of the food (a mug of milo cost RM2! I never get that price at KL or Johor. This is Perlis for goodness sake, huh! They really are crazy), it never waver our spirit to get together. We spent hours and hours laughing and talking, until I found my mouth became ‘sengal’ a bit because of too much smiling and laughing non-stop.
Reached home when it about maghrib. My Pak Su and his family were at my house as they want to visit and look at my dad’s condition.
‘Ramai sungguh kawan dia noo..’ said Pak Su
I just smiled to him, ‘kawan sekolah agama dulu..dah lama Pak Su sampai?’
‘Lama dah aihh..’
It’s great seeing my folks were happy wif the noise and people coming to our home.
When they about to leave the house, during salam my Mak Su, she shot,
‘ni bila nak kenduri?’
Cheh, macam takde soalan lain ‘err..kenduri?’, I went speechless..
While hugging me, she whispered ‘orang mana?’, (haii my dear Mr. Green Spot)
Smiling, almost close to laugh, I reply ‘takdak sapa-sapa lagi ehehe’
Aku memang takde duit nak kawen, seyes!
I was exhausted wif going here and there, but I was happy. My weekend was splendid
For my G Squares, thanx for making my youth’s life so meaningful. Now, I am proudly to say I am the G Square’s friend. You guys show me how friendship is. Besh3x.. And my dear Mr. I do will miss ur tazkirahs and ur cynical smile. Come back safely, will you? I meant it. Seriously.
